I think Emmett would have looked a lot like Brody does right now. I often wonder what Cookie looked like as a puppy. I can still see a bit of her puppy face in her. And whenever I looked at Blade, I could still see him as he was at 8 weeks old. I wonder if I ever go the puppy route will I be able to separate the two. I think that's one reason I'm going to stick with adult Rotties for now. I know we shape a lot of our pet's personality so I have a feeling Brody is going to grow up to be one hell of a Golden. :) I think you’re right Jess. I've read over some of it--I started with the post about how veterinarians are in league with the evil pet food companies (full disclosure: I work in Consumer Relations at Iams/Eukanuba). I've never known anyone who went into veterinary medicine to become rich. And it totally ticks me off when people (who ought to know better) set themselves up as "experts" so they can slander a group of professionals who are what they are because they love animals. I've also read some of your posts about Emmett. From his photos, he looks like a great dog. In fact, I was thinking how well trained he was, holding that donut on his nose...... In my brief time on your blog I didn't see mention of Emmett's passing, but I suspect the time may be near? Cancer really does suck. Dr. V, I think I love your blog.
