Happy Thanksgiving from Brodediah and Kekoahontas

They began now to gather in the small harvest they had, and to fit up their houses and dwellings against winter, being all well recovered in health and strength and had all things in good plenty.

And besides waterfowl there was great store of wild turkeys, of which they took many, besides venison, etc. Besides, they had about a peck of meal a week to a person, or now since harvest, Indian corn to that proportion.

Which made many afterwards write so largely of their plenty here to their friends in England, which were not feigned but true reports.”
-William Bradford, Of Plimoth Plantation
On the eve of Thanksgiving, I wish for all of you the clarity the love of a pet has brought to me: despite all the things we strive for in life, all the struggles and aspirations and goals, none matters so much as the simple pleasures of family and friends: good food, good company, and a little bacon every now and then. Have a good one!
P.S. If you make a Turbacon you have to promise to send me a picture!
