Many of you have asked for an update on my post about Project Beatrice from the Humane Society of Tijuana. I am so happy to share with you the Friends of HSTJ website with the latest update:
The house has made incredible progress and is already being drywalled and they are moving in soon!
The website also has several updates with lots of fantastic pictures from earlier in the month.
If you really want to have a good Sunday, check out the post featuring San Diego photographer Bryan Miller’s amazing photographs, such as this one:
This is 100% grassroots- a handful of people who care, doing amazing things. Bravo, guys (and gals.)

Hey Dr. V, I actually meant to send this to you, but you beat me to the punch. The house made tremendous progress. The last time I saw it, the electrical was done, and the sheetrocking was halfway finished. The family is very excited to have their new home, and it’s such an amazing improvement over how they were living. We are still in the process of collecting donations for them, but I think we have a specific wishlist somewhere if you would me to get that so we can share it. Thanks for updating!

I’d love to Sarah. And if you ever want to do a guest post about all the other great work you guys are doing, I’d be honored to share it.
I think I have some kids’ stuff too- bedding, clothes if you still need it.
