You know I don’t write on the weekends very often, but given my post on Friday I wanted to make sure to come back and give credit where credit is due. We just got back from Circus Vargas with 2 tired and happy kids. I can’t believe how much the show has changed from what I remember!
It was more like Cirque du Soleil than the old school three-ring circus, with aerialists, trapeze artists, and unique acts from different corners of the world. Plus popcorn. I didn’t miss the animals (obviously) and from listening around, no one else in the audience did either.
I am so heartened that a traveling show can change with the times and continue to succeed, and so glad I could share the fun and excitement of the big top with my family in a way we all felt good about. I wish Circus Vargas- and others who have done the same- many years of success! We’ll see you next time around!

Dr. V love, I have a favor to ask. You know that bit at the end of your blog where it says “you might also like” and shows pics from various other of your blog posts?
Can you Pretty Please make it so the mugshot of the cat torturer dude stops showing up? I really hate thinking about him every time I read your blog. I have no idea why your I assume random generator doohicky picks his pic so often out of all the awesome animal shots you post, but it’s under like every other post. Blech.
Gratefully,
me

I don’t have any way to control what blog posts get rotated in- just to set up that expectation- so I think I would have to remove the post from the blog. I’ll ask tech support.
Not that it’s the greatest post or topic, for sure.

Or just the picture from the post, maybe? Am I being troublesome?
Dr. V says
Yes π
The Linked Within widget is hosted on a different site so until it updated the cache, both the picture and the post are something I can’t change.
The post is removed and won’t show up again in the future, though. And that’s the best I can give ya. π
