Giveaway: Peekeeper

November 14, 2010 by Dr. V

Have you ever heard of a fashionable diaper? Me neither. There is a reason they are not considered haute couture.

Nonetheless, there is a time and place for everything, and our canine friends may sometimes find themselves in need of one as well. Incontinent dogs, submissive urinators who sprinkle everywhere, and dogs in heat are just a couple examples of the type of dog who might find themselves bundled up in doggie depends.

Dog diapers, in addition to being just silly looking, are a bit of a pain in the butt. (Can you tell the sleep deprivation is setting in?) They bunch up, get scooted off, or block important other functions.

The good people over at Peekeeper have a rather ingenious little solution to that problem with their escape-proof diaper. If you weren’t looking too closely, you might just think it was a harness or an outfit.

I volunteer for a dog rescue group and two years ago we received a little old dog that has one eye, deaf, awful teeth and incontinent. No one would adopt this decreped, senile little thing so I took him in. He currently wears a diaper in the house and I worry that he will get chaffed from it since he has it on at hours at time when I go to work. I would like to get something better for Igor if possible. Thank you

Ricochet is my older JRT. He has some incontinence, but because his chest is a a little deep and his tuck-up is a little high, it’s hard finding panties or belly bands that will stay where it needs to stay.

my Rocky is 12 years old and he come to my life by marriage. he was already spoiled and i didn’t have a chance to train him. my husband use to just let him pee anywhere when he wasn’t home because he felt guilty about leaving him alone all day while he worked. So my husband just cleaned it and told him it was ok. well i come into the picture with two trained dogs and a what ever, when ever dog. i tried training Rocky for a few years and it worked for about 2 years but now that he is older he is back to the same old thing. he even pee’s when we are at home. but the sad story is my two other perfect children are not so perfect because i cought them doing the same thing the other day. now i have 3 peeing dogs that i can’t leave outside because Rocky is to old and it wouldn’t be far he stayed in and the other two are out. I just wish i could by all three of them a peekeeper but for the price i can only get Rocky one and maybe just keep the other two out side:(. so if any one has a code for discount for the peekeeper PLEASE share with me. Thanx
