Winner of the pawcurious giveaway is: the Cat Guy! And the Twitter contest is still pending. 😀
OK, here is the first of several awesome Brody B-day Giveaways we have lined up for the week. It’s an extravaganza! Note: there are TWO separate contests here: the Twitter contest and the giveaway here on the blog.
Sam’s Club Twitter Photo Contest
Sam’s Club is hosting a “Pet-Tastic Savings Giveaway” photo contest on Twitter. In celebration of the money saved at Sam’s Club, they are asking entrants to take a photo that represents how you would pamper your pet with the money you save by buying at Sam’s Club. There are three bloggie judges (cough cough, ahem, you may know one of them) who will pick our very favorite for the Grand Prize:
- 1-year Plus Membership (value = $100)
- 1-year supply of pet food and snacks (approx. value = $940)
- 1-year supply of PetArmor (a topical flea product that is the same active ingredient as Frontline.)
All for Tweeting a picture! It couldn’t be easier!
How to Enter:
Follow Sam’s Club Twitter Page (@samsclub). Then, create a tweet that includes the hashtag “#SamsClubPet”, mention “@samsclub”, and a link to the photo. Cats and dogs are the only type of pet that qualify for the “Pet-tastic Savings Giveaway” Photo Contest. Pictures will be judged based on humor and creativity.
Deadline:
Eligibility:
Contest is open and offered only to legal residents of the 50 United States and Washington D.C., who are 18 years of age and older as of May 20, 2011. One entry per e-mail and/or mailing address; multiple Twitter accounts will be disqualified.
And now for the second part: a giveaway just for pawcurious readers!
Sam’s Club is also offering a second giveaway here on the blog for you guys, just because you’re fantastic and all of that. The contest is open to all who are eligible for the main giveaway. This contest closes in one week, May 30, 2011 11:59 PST.
The prize: A pet care product package from Sam’s Club worth approximately $450. That’s a lot of pet goodies.
To see some examples of pet care products available at Sam’s Club, you can check out the website here. To enter, leave a comment below with what your pet would most like from the Sam’s Club lineup. If he had a credit card. And a ride. Or you can post the picture you entered in the Twitter contest, or a good dog haiku. I’m easy.

Our new puppy would love the High Tech Pet – Humane Contain HC-8000Plus Super Electronic Dog Fence with Free Extra Collar and the ASL Solutions – Deluxe Dog Palace Large Doghouse – Includes Heater and Fan.
martina says
My 13 year old senior dog has stage 1 renal failure and deserves to be spoiled even more. Though I was unable to access the Sam’s site, I know she would adore a nice poofy luxurious dog bed. Her favorite things are treats, ear rubs and napping on a fluffy commfy bed. The other dog aka auxilliary dog is totally content with just treats, walks and any bit of the dog bed the senior dog will share.
Steph B says
My puppy would love the portable soft crate – they’re great for travelling, and we go to lots of different places where an easy-to-carry crate would be wonderful!
Shadowsrider says
Sun rise on the beach
foam surges around surfboards
Brody rules the waves
Kelly Ann T. says
If my dog had a credit card and a ride he would go to Sam’s and get a variety of treats such as Yummy Chummies®, Milk Bone Soft & Chewy Beef & Filet Mignon Recipe Dog Treats, and Pedigree® DentaStix®. Then he would get a Folding Dog Crate so he could lock his sister inside and so he wouldn’t have to share the treats.
the cat guy says
My kitties would love the automatic cat door! I can see them being impressed by their ability to open the door with no contact.
elizabeth says
If Morgan (13.5 yr old golden girl) had a credit card & a ride – she’d fill her cart up with Milk-bones. She’s become an “emotional milkbone eater” since my other GR Mully died in March. Though she’d trade all the treats & toys in the world to have Mully back.
Julie says
Gilbert would love a new bed! That Pet Bagel bed looks cool – I think he would like something with raised sides.
Jenn D. says
The portable soft crate looks awesome! Tucker, I’m sure, would much appreciate us *not* breaking down and packing up his metal crate every time we go on a trip – it totally freaks him out.
Rachel says
Preston and Elvis would like new dog beds..our foster dogs have pretty much destroyed them
Tonya says
Alley, my cat, would dig one of those awesome Casita Cat Condos! And Clyde, my dog, saw the Buddy Biscuit combo pack and practically jumped in the car to go to our local Sam’s Club! 🙂
Jenn B says
Ein, my Dane Mix, was looking over my shoulder and begged me for a new bed. She says that since I kicked her off my Select Comfort, nothing is comfortable anymore.
alisa says
my doggies are food-a-holics…so im pretty sure they would grab a new bed and a bag of food and eat till they passed out! hehe
john says
We have three dogs, two labs and a husky, that always fight over the memory foam pet beds, I am sure they would love a new one!
Katherine says
My four adopted/foundling dogs would LOVE to have the installed doggie door. But then, that might defeat my purpose in life, which is opening and closing our back door to the ever-changing whims of ridiculously spoiled dogs!
Solange says
Awesome contest! If I won, I would donate all the items to my local shelter, PAWS Atlanta. The doggies there are very much loved, but would really love anything that would make them forget that they are shelter dogs, even if it was just for one minute.
Sally says
Having 3 furkids, the kids all could use so much from Sam’s. They all could use the new PetArmor Plus collars as living in Fl we have fleas and ticks year round. Then the older one needs her vitamins to keep her healthy as she does pet therapy for hospice. The newest baby is in training and could benefit from the training collar to learn not to leave the yard. We always go to Sam’s for all their treats and food. Although times have been tough, the savings at Sam’s really made it worth renewing our membership and shopping there for their food and treats. Winning this would so help out!!
Susan Pellerin says
OOOOO, I am the smallest in the family-I’m a mini schnauzer, and very spoiled-but I would love for my sister, who is a golden/lab mix, to have a new X-Large Plush Pet bed so she won’t get into my Momma’s bed with us! She ate her last bed and now she thinks it might be okay to sleep where I do! Gurls! Anyhoo, I’d also like my Momma to ask for a lot of ‘supplies’ for our animal shelter here in Nevada Co., CA. They are trying to stay/be a no-kill shelter and I think that’s a great idea! I’d like to donate the items in the name of my brother Ranger who died of epilepsy this last Sept. That would make Momma very happy! Yours in pup-itude,
Stewart
Ashley says
We would totally spoil our 6 kitties by adding one of those amazing cat trees to their cat room. They would love one of those for sure!
Leigh says
OMG, my cat would think he was in heaven if he got the Bungalow Cat Condo 73″! My dogs… they would probably appreciate the Unviversal backseat cover (so that I am no logner frustrated!) Or any pet bed, they like to lounge in comfort!!
Esther says
If Moose had a card and a ride he would buy Sam’s out of stock of every single treat and then gorge himself on them. Then He would nap on the orthopedic bed he also bought. He would also get the nice soft sided crate for agility trials. That way when he had to go into isolation for roaring like a jerk at his neighbors like has been known to happen (silly rotten boy) he could make the move without being stuck in the car while I fought with the large wire crate.
Amanda says
Just in time for summer, my yellow lab would <3 love <3 a WaterDog drinking fountain. Though she would probably "play" with it more than drink from it!
Molly Mednikow says
“My name is Marilyn Monrowf, and my Mom rescued me from Peru. I feel very lucky, but don’t understand why I am eating out of a “make your own pottery” dog bowl she made for ANOTHER dog in 1991! It even has the other dog’s initials on it! I never met this dog “G.”, but I know I deserve my OWN feeder and waterer. Additionally, I need a new dog bed and treats. Lots of treats. Finally, Sam’s Club has a Pet Food “Bag In” Dispenser for 60 lbs. bags. Mom doesn’t like to admit it, but she has ants, and she needs a plastic food dispenser!!” by Marilyn Monrowf, dog of Molly Mednikow
Michelle Brosnan says
Lola would love a great supply of doggy shampoos for her goldilocks!!

Buster would love to have pet beds in ALL his favorite napping spots.
Pam & Oskar says
I think that Oskar would love this pet bed: http://www.samsclub.com/sams/shop/product.jsp?productId=196417&iid=TDM|PetCenter|DogsLoungerPetBed
We better win or he’s demanding that I but it for him!

Lesley M. says
Our old kitty (18 years) would love one of those fancy pet beds and some cat treats, even though she doesn’t get them much and has to eat food for cats who don’t need so many calories 🙂 Oh, and I guess if she can go totally crazy, one of those cat trees. She’s never had one. Great giveaway!
Shihtzuation says
Here’s my pic: http://lockerz.com/s/105393551 (Submitted it last night but for some reason it wouldn’t go through!)
If my dog had a credit card – no doubt he would go right for the food and buy him and his brofur a bunch of burgers! He would also buy his 15yr old brofur the Pet Gear stroller since his brofur is 15 & has a hard time walking. Treats, frontline, cuddly wuddly blankets are a given too.
Sarah Narbonne says
My 3 year old brussels griffon, Mr.Brown, asked that I enter him in the contest … Although he loves many of the dog products Sam’s Club has to offer, his favorite item that he would buy if i gave him a ride and a credit card would ne a year supply of cherrios! He eats them everyday and, and would buy as many boxes as he could fit in his cart!
Michelle Brosnan says
Did pawcurious pick a winner yet??? Lola’s had her paws crossed all weekend!
