A Big Announcement

August 31, 2011 by Dr. V

I have been waiting on pins and needles to make it, too.

Happy Face
After much blood, sweat, and tears- mostly on the part of the magnificent Joelle at Moxie Design, I just watched- the new and improved pawcurious 2.0 is going to launch

TOMORROW!

It will have the same look, I promise. In fact, I have a feeling I would be in a lot of trouble if it didn’t. In double fact, I tried to change that and go for a different look and Joelle delicately inferred that despite my being the customer who should always be right, I was most likely not right in wanting to do that and I might want to reconsider.

Then I went to BlogPaws and mentioned the site redesign and to a one every person reacted in horror: “You’re not losing the cartoons, right? Because we love the cartoons.”

Nope. Pawcurious 2.0 in fact has even more cartoons, thanks to the magic fingers of Dan Sipple. You may even recognize a couple of characters. (cough cough Perry and Bailey).

It will be the same site, only a little bigger in scope and hopefully one that makes it easier for you to find things. In addition, this upgrade will make it easier for me to incorporate guest posts, which I am so excited to be able to do. I’ll be looking for photographers, trainers, Be the Changers and overall cool people who want to share their stuff to come on board, so if you think you’d like to contribute at some point, there will be plenty of chances.

I say all this in case there is a mild delay. There shouldn’t be, but if there is a big “under construction” badge up here it doesn’t mean I got hacked, it just means we’re running a bit behind. But it will be totally worth it.

There is so much exciting stuff going on right now I can barely contain myself. Conferences and a big sporting event and a big trip I haven’t talked about because it was too much for me to bear without my head exploding. But as soon as we launch, I’m going all in.

See you on the other side!

and for the record, I really like the current design. Very fun and yet functional. I like that the ads are not everywhere and so in your face. You are a very talented writer and creative woman, i’m thankful you choose to share your gifts with us all in blogland.
