Giveaway Tuesday: Kona’s Chips

September 6, 2011 by Dr. V

Congratulations to our winner, Daisy the Curly Cat! Hope you enjoy!!

Welcome back! I hope you all had a good holiday and are feeling nice and rested.

To kick off the first official week of pawcurious 2.0, I’m really excited to have a giveaway from Kona’s Chips!

The company was started in 2007, after the owner’s dog Kona became ill after eating dehydrated chicken treats from China. Unfortunately, those kinds of treats have been problematic for lots of pets. Kona’s Chips was the solution- the same treats pets go nuts for, made in America under USDA regulations.

More than just chicken, Kona’s Chips has expanded to a full line of treats so that no matter what flavor your dog or cat loves there is a choice for them.

Justin from Kona’s Chips has generously offered a three pack of Kona’s Chips to one lucky reader. All you need to do is check out the product line and leave a comment with which three your pet would like!

Details:

Contest open to US only. Winner chosen at random. Contest closes midnight PST Sept 16th. Good luck!

First of all, I am *dying* of jealousy over your design – I just noticed today that your header graphic changes with the different categories! And I still love your Twitter feed thought bubble thingie… Sigh. Maybe after my blog is in Parents magazine in November companies will be falling all over themselves to sponsor me and I can finally make the switch to WP and a brand new look!

Anyway, Henry *loves* dehydrated treats – Mommy didn’t even realize that some were made in China – Mommy fail. If we won, he’d like to try the chicken jerky for sure, and maybe those cracker-ish ones. And, if he’s a *very* good boy, he’d like to try the pig ears!

My Sharpei/something-short mix, whose name is also Kona, would love to try anything in the beef chewie line.

He’d actually love anything from any of the lines; Kona does not discriminate when it comes to treats but beef agrees with his delicate digestion the most.

Also, the new design looks excellent! Congratulations!

I would love to try these – it is hard to find US made chicken jerky (if you can’t find these, Trader’s Jose chicken jerky is US made and reasonably priced).
Gilbert would love to try the chicken jerky, chicken and sweet potato and liver treats.

Clyde would love to try the Chicken and Sweet Potato treats and the Liver Licks Kicks. And Alley would be one happy cat if she could try the Kona’s Katz! She’s on a grain-free diet, and it’s difficult to find good grain-free treats for her. Thanks for sharing this source of US-made goodies with us!
