I am super-duper excited for today’s giveaway. You see, I’ve been thinking about all the things I am thankful for, and there’s a lot- my family, my health, my dogs. And all of you, because you guys are what makes all this carpal tunnel stuff worthwhile. You put up with zombie apocalypses and cheer me up when even Brody isn’t doing the trick.
So because I love you all, we decided to give away something super cool right before the holiday season. I don’t have one yet, except for the one I’m giving away, but I hear they are pretty awesome. I know you all like to read as much as I do. And one of you gets to win one!
Kindle Fire Giveaway!!
To Enter:
I’m using Rafflecopter to run this giveaway so we will see how this goes. Lots of ways to enter! You have two weeks to enter, so still plenty of time to have it for Christmas if you win. US only for this one, sadly- it’s not really supported anywhere else yet. Make sure your e-mail address is in your comment or used for your Disqus signup as this is how I will notify the winner!

This week, I’m thankful for my two sweet kids, my great husband, our four special cats, and the abandoned cat we took in last weekend. (Her owners moved away and just left her! 🙁 ) I’m also thankful that we are financially secure enough to donate to the Red Cross monthly, to give back through Publix to those in our community who don’t have enough to eat, and to the Salvation Army. I’m also happy to be healthy enough to give blood as often as possible! I’m not trying to toot my own horn – I’m just thankful that we have enough to be able to give to those who don’t.
I’m thankful for my family, especially my husband who has been so supportive this year.

I am thankful for my family. I just graduated (law school/Master’s program) and because of the economy I can’t find employment. I’m grateful to my parents, who have taken my husband and I in and given us food and shelter and emotional support, and possibly even more grateful to my husband for being gracious enough to move in with my parents and not to blame me for the situation we are in. I can’t really afford much in the way of Christmas presents, so I would LOVE to be able to give my husband the Kindle Fire, if I were to win.
I am thankful for my family and friends, they are the best.
That’s generous of you to give this away. Since everyone seems to be talking about what they’re thankful for, I’m thankful for Scout, my Aussie shepherd mix. He’s pretty new to us but we’re already in love with him, and because of his energetic personality we’re living healthier due to the increased exercise. He’s walking us 3 or 4 miles a day, and about an hour of playing. Yay for dogs!

i am thankful for my husband. he’s not only tolerant of all of my doggie activities, he encourages me to participate and is my biggest cheerleader. granted he keeps saying no to more pets, but since we have 2 cats and 2 dogs, i really can’t complain. i would like to add an exotic to the mix, though…!
There are so many things to be thankful for….where do I begin? Start at home, my husband, son and myself are healthy. My two dogs and one spoiled cat are healthy. Health really plays an important role when you watch someone you love fight for their life, more then once and more then one person. It takes a mental toll on you because you would give up anything you had to see them well again, happy again.
