Every little kid who wants to be a vet someday says it's because they love puppies and kittens and think we get to play with them all day. And then we smile, trying not to look too discouraging, as we encourage their dream while thinking of all the cancer euthanasias, anal sac abscesses, and "it-just-started-yesterday-I-swear" 10 centimeter pedunculated, bloody masses. Confession: I'm on vacation this week. A real, honest to goodness, pack up the family and go somewhere really fun vacation, which we haven't done in a while so was very needed. Someone who shall remain unnamed stole a rather sizeable piece of chicken off someone's plate yesterday. I had about 4 hours to kill at the Dayton airport yesterday, which I had planned to spend writing a post for today. Well, I think I've established that I am incapable of doing a Wordless Wednesday without words. Can I just call it Wordy Wednesday and be done with it?
