Hour 16: Shout out to the Ocelot

November 7, 2009 by Dr. V

I guess it is the morning now, isn’t it? The animals (both human and 4 legged) are up and begging for food.

The only way I could get Apollo to hold still was to take his picture by the food bowl.

Jungle Ocelot is not amused.

I know it’s not the best photo, but we’re on a deadline, people. To quote the best movie ever, you rush a miracle man, you get rotten miracles.

First person to correctly name the actor/actress who said those lines gets a calming collar from CalmingCollars.com.

Close…what is the name of the actor/actress whose character said that in that movie?

If I would just learn to slow down and read the actual question, I’d do much better. I’m blaming it on running the 5K after 6 hours of sleep (which I know is more than you’ve had, so I’m expecting no sympathy here!).

Hey Tonya- when you get a chance can you shoot me a line with your e-mail (drv@pawcurious.com)? I’d like to arrange your prize!

YAY! This is awesome because I actually have a dog who NEEDS a calming collar! I’ve already bought one for him in the past, and they do seem to help. How often do you win something you actually need? Thanks! 🙂

Oh yay! I’d love to hear your experience when you get it. 🙂

    Apollo! Good morning!

If you haven’t had all hours spoken for, I’d love to hear your experiences with pet health insurance. Not necessarily pro or con but any experience you’ve had in surgery, etc.

Gosh he’s pretty. My mom has a big fluffy black boy, his name’s Charisma but we call him Charlie. I think he’s a bit of a dink, but that’s cause I moved in with my mom for a little under a year a few years back, and I brought Kitteh with me.

This is Kitteh: http://i165.photobucket.com/albums/u78/Tassiaw/indubitablykitteh.jpg I thought the picture was hilarious, his expression is priceless, so I added a top hat and monocle. He’s a whiny, pretty mommy’s boy.

This is Charisma: http://i165.photobucket.com/albums/u78/Tassiaw/Charisma.jpg He’s much bigger than my Kitteh, and quite a bully. But he’s really pretty.

Charisma bit Kitteh on the back, and one of his canines punctured right through the skin and made this nasty wound. Had to take Kitteh to the vet, it got infected. I was so worried about him. My mom swears Charlie’s a nice cat, but I have a hard time loving him since he hurt my little boy. I’m sure I’m just being hard on him, but you know what it’s like to be protective of your (fur) children/

I saw your pics and forgot to respond back at the time but those are awesome. Charisma is so handsome and Kitteh- lol. I love that pic!
