We’re ready- are you?

November 25, 2009 by Dr. V

Brody heard me talking about “Thanksgiving GI upsets” in one breath and “early starts” in another, so he decided to go ahead a day early and greet me with a wee bit of explosive diarrhea of indeterminate origin this morning. And this without a single bite of turkey skin or cheese.

Keep the bird up high, y’all. And have a great day!

Poor Brody always looks so humiliated when he’s wearing clothes, lol. Who takes these professional pics of him? That’s a great camera!

Was the GI upset before or after the hat pic? I’m sensing a trend here 😉

    Love the puppy dog eyes!

Our dog threw up in our bed last night…he always seems to wait till it’s around 3 a.m. One time he narrowly missed throwing up on my face ” (

Oh poor Brody. Is there prep stuff going on for the holiday? Change in pace even? Okay, I do realize I am asking a vet these questions, it’s not lost on me, but you know when they’re your own ….. : )

Miranda, OMG but LOL at the same time! That would’ve been awful, but since he missed we can laugh right?!

Nope, just a puppy getting into stuff he shouldn’t. Though he did try out a food you had sent me your experiences with….

ew, sorry. It’s not life with a puppy without an episode or two of random vomiting or explosive discharge via the other end. Both my babies ended up in puppy ER (one because he ate something dead before I could catch him – I think it was a bird, and the other because she ate goose poop – why? I don’t know but that’s my monster for you). hope he feels better and gets to enjoy his thanksgiving dinner doggie food treat!

What a patient pup, even with the mopey face. Did he get to rip up the offending hat afterward? 🙂

Oh yes. He ripped it off after about 3 clicks.

I have to agree you’re quite the photog. What type of camera are you using? Poor innocent Brody. 😉 Maybe he has STRESS colitis because he is stressing about the fact that he can smell all your fabulous cooking but can’t have any?? Maybe you should give him just one bite 😉 Don’t vets pets always have all the problems and weird diseases? 😉 LOL Happy Thanksgiving!
