Biscuits by Lambchop Giveaway 2 is live!

November 13, 2010 by Dr. V

Scavenger Hunt 2 is Live!

For the clues and details, check out the Biscuits by Lambchop facebook page and follow the instructions you find there.

From Annette:

“This is near and dear to my heart because Lambchop used to get seizures, so I know how upsetting that is and how not knowing when it will happen can be so worrisome. Bradyn will be so much safer if his family, and as he grows – he himself, would be if he had a dog that could warn them when a seizure is coming on.” Truer words were never spoken!

Whether we are rewarding good behavior or teaching our dog new tricks, treats are a staple in every pet owner’s household. But what happens if your dog is allergic to every treat on the market, leaving you with no edible reward options? Annette Frey was out of luck after her dog Lambchop developed a myriad of medical issues, including kidney disease, and was placed on strict dietary guidelines. With nothing to reward her dog but a “good boy” and a pat on the head, Annette took to the kitchen, testing hundreds of combinations with Lambchop serving as the “official taste-tester”.

She finally developed a recipe free of gluten, wheat, eggs and dairy (all common canine allergens), while limiting fat, sodium and phosphorus (to support Lambchop’s kidneys and pancreas conditions) and, most importantly, remaining delicious and a healthy treat for most any dog!
