Pardon me for my brevity today. I just went to a Katy Perry concert and it struck me both deaf and blind, mostly in a good way, but still.
I’m trying out something new to share all these great stories I find over the course of the week: It’s the weekly roundup!

So reading Tumbleweeds, and your stories on Emmett … and my tears fall at your beautiful words of love and loss. Last year, I lost Chanel, she was 20 years old, tonight I sit with Lilly by my feet, watching each heave of her chest. Knowing that we may not have that much more time together her and I … 12 years is a long time for a big dog like her. My heart will break when she is gone.
A place like this, this lovely haven you have created makes my heart smile.
Thank you, you came into my life at the right time, I love when that happens.
