Sam’s Club Halloween Costume Contest!

Last minute Twitter Halloween contest alert! I know there are a ton of you out there with awesome costumes based on what I saw on Facebook today, and now I have a way for you to turn that into some great prizes from Sam’s Club!

It’s easy peasy to enter. If you have a picture, get it ready. If not, take one. I’ll wait.

Go to Twitter. Post a tweet that includes the hashtag “#SamsClubPet” and mention “@SamsClub” and then include a link to a photo of your cat or dog’s Halloween costume.  Cat or dog only. 

That’s it! That’s all you have to do to enter. And guess who gets to be one of the judges? That’s right, your arbiter of good taste and fun, yours truly. We take our pet Halloween costumes very seriously, if you recall.

(There are entire Bret Michaels dog costume contests floating around this year, by the way. I like to think we started that trend.)

Photos will be judged based on the clear relationship between the photo and originality of the idea, creativity of costume and humor of the photo. (We sure do love humor around here.)

• The prizes will be awarded as follows: 1 Grand Prize Winner will receive a pet supply prize package with approximate retail value of $300.  One First Prize Winner will receive a pet supply prize package of approximately $200 and three Second Prize Winners will each receive a pet supply prize package of $150 each.
•  The contest will run from 12:01  am CST on October 28^th, 2011 until 11:59 pm CST on November 2^nd .
• US residents only. One entry per person per Twitter account and the photo must be of your own dog or cat..
