I don't know how happy I will be come 10:30 or so, but through a very happy coincidence the Helen Woodward Animal Center is having their annual telethon the same day as the blogathon. Crazy, huh? And they asked me to come read a letter on air to start things off. Now, I'm older and wiser than I was back in September. I have three lovely things to announce today. Well, two lovely and one "this is going to be interesting." 1. Final numbers are in for the Home for the Holidays campaign! Blog posts: 609 Facebook pictures: 305 I told my Iams contact how some people had been having trouble tagging the photos on Facebook with 'Iams', so they graciously agreed to count all the pictures regardless of how they were tagged. Laboceros update
The labocerous is looking so sleek and slim lately we may need to consult with the biologists to revise her taxonomic classification to panther. She can bound up the stairs now, which is a first for her in this house (and probably in any house, at least for some time.) As our time on the Nulo challenge winds to an end, I can say without reservation that I am very happy with the food, the customer service and the results. Even dog-girls get the blues
I weighed Kekoa on Tuesday and I am happy to report that she is back on track at 74.5 pounds- one more pound gone! She really is a trooper. She has this great talent of utilizing her lower center of gravity to butt Brody out of the way when they are jockeying for position at feeding time, so despite her shrinking weight she still had mad leverage skills.
