Humiliations Galore

April 5, 2010 by Dr. V

To say it was an eventful weekend would be a bit of a understatement. This weekend was action-packed. However, I’m exhausted by all of it and I just want to enjoy my chocolate coma, so I’ll leave all of that for later and for the moment, simply share the family tradition of humiliating the pets with festive holiday wear:

Koa tolerates this, as with all things, with good humor.

We will sit nicely but only if you promise great rewards.

For Brody, liver treats will do the trick.

In Koa’s case, a hug from her favorite girl is sufficient reward.

Or maybe she just really wanted the sparkly ears? I don’t know.

Once again, awesome pictures! 🙂 Hey, how often does Koa wear her calming collar? Daily? She seems to have it on in all of her pics.

You know, she does so well with it I just have been leaving it on. It smells very nice.

You can think of it as a built in doggie air freshener — that happens to relax the dog!

Both babies are beautiful in their Easter finery. Thank you for sharing.

Adorable bunny ears! I gave up and made my own. Finn is suitably mortified.

The sparkling ears rock! I wish I had a pair.

I didn’t get around to making Pru any ears, but I made her a little lace rose for her hair that she wore all of three seconds before shaking out. She did have on her eyelet sun dress though, much to the chagrin of a fellow dog enthusiast who remarked to her husky mixes “count yourselves lucky I don’t humiliate you like that poor puppy.” Bah humbug!

aww, what sweet babies! Koa is just a gentle giant(ess). Even Brody looks calm and patient – for whatever number of seconds it took to take the picture and get the treat. 🙂
